Hello Jokovich,

Do you have quick viewer or viewer open where acrobat ist showing a preview?
>>> don't use permanent preview
Some case even I have to restart my computer.
You can use taskmanager (ctrl & shift & esc) to end acrobat task.

Re: 840 - Status bar tooltip for size don't show kB and MB

You can adjust the settings at

Tools > Settings > View > Status Bar

Defind details (hammer) for the selection "single selection" or/and "Multi selection"

Re: Can see folder in tree nor list, but can access it?

I think you are using 32-bit FCXE on 64-bit Windows. A lot of special folders aren't at the place that Windows shows to you. http://freecommander.com/en/faq-freecommander/#using-32-on-64 https://freecommander.com/en/version-summary/ https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/windows/win32/winprog64/file-syste...

Re: I give up. Can't figure out how to change color (e.g. Address Bar)

I have no possibillity to check Win 7, but you have to put RGB values (138, 240, 101) in the fields on the right R=red, G=green, B=blue). I think I remember that the lightblue color was the windows highlight color. Try at settings > select items: On: Theme off (need program restart) Off: Use Windows...

Re: Feature request: right-click menu on Address Bar offers "new folder tab"

However there appears to be a bug in FCXE adding that command. Whether using the red arrow button or double-click method, when I select the command row that has the icon and use either of the two methods for adding the command, the row selected drops down from the first of the two rows for "ne...

Re: Feature request: right-click menu on Address Bar offers "new folder tab"

This means you can put an button for "open in new tab" in "Address bar - actions toolbar" or any other toolbar. So you have a oneclick solution to open selected folder in new tab (also if you have not tab). As result you have 2 tabs. https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Defineac...

Re: How to acheive a fresh install ?

First you can check if some settings influences the speed of freecommander. Start FC with default settings with this command line parameters: "C:\path to FreeCommander.exe" /N /NewIni=Test.ini /NoPlugins https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Commandlineparameters.html Or you can try the po...

For the file window you also can use rightclick on statusbar.
There are options for "hidden files" and "system files".

I think FC normally has no context menu entries, they are all from windows explorer listed for filetypes in registry.
