Thumbnails Button not depressed

#1 Post by BGM » 13.10.2011, 16:46

I normally view files in list mode, which uses small icons. Sometimes I want to see the files as images, so I push the thumbnail view button. It all works fine, but the thumbnail-view button should be depressed to indicate the view that is being used. Instead, the list-view button is still depressed even though the view is in thumbnail.

  • Please open the "Define action toolbars" dialog.
Select the right toolbar and "Thumbnails" button.
Click on .. in the "Details" column.
Check the value of the "Group index" field.
The value should be the same as for "List" and "Details" button.

Okay, well that fixes that part - but now I remember that we set them differently in another post - we wanted it so that default view is set to List, and you click the thumbnails view, that thumbnails button becomes depressed - but when you click the thumbnails view AGAIN - it goes back to its last setting, which would have been List view, and so the List button would become depressed and the thumbs view would be unpressed. I think it used to work this way in old FC.

With both group indexes being equal, then clicking the thumbs view again does not reset the view to the default view.

Am I as clear as mud here?
