Searching Text within Files (ALT-F7)

I want to know if the search function (ALT-F7) considers file types, like "MIME-Type=application/pdf" when text inside files is searched, or if all files are browsed as binary files.

In first case I would only find the real text content. In second case I would also find meta data e.g. text "pdf" would be found in each pdf file.

I don't know, but it's a nice idea - if it's not implemented yet.
