is there any way to get to the search with the shortcut Ctrl+F.
I'm so used to using that for looking for things in any other programms but here I get some filter options.
I have no idea if there is any way to get that done... but it would be really nice.

To open the Search Window you have to press the Alt+F7 keys combination.

You can redefine all shortcuts under Extras->Keyboard shortcuts...
