Directory and files positions

#1 Post by eddiewa » 29.12.2009, 21:47

This question has been asked before but I am afraid I did not understand the answer and after searching I am sorry but I cannot find another answer.

I would like to have a Directory in the left and files in that directory in the right pane

The answer given was use STRG+E

but now the question is where is this command entered please?

STRG+E (= Ctrl+E) is to show the same content on the right pane, I think it's not what you want.

I think what is wanted is for FC to be just like Windows Explorer. That can be done by hiding one pane. There is another thread covering this somewhere.

I can never figure out why anyone would want to do that.

Or -- is it just that the tree view is missing?
