What if I just keep editing this post if/when I encounter what seems to be a bug?
Autosize for Name Column says, "Max. width (0 no limit)", but I cannot set width to 0 ...
The condition feature will be GREAT.

My "Search" hotkey combo does not seem to work ..
My "Show/Hide hidden/system files" hotkey combo does not seem to work ..

Unchecking "Show parent folder *...* seems to have no effect

It is working for me now but was not yesterday.
There might be some condition(s) that interfere with it.
I'll keep an eye out ...

FCXEpα does something bizarre sometimes.
One of my custom views is for multimedia files and has lots of columns.
I toggle FCXEpα to one pane and back.
After I do that, FCXEpα does not update tabtitles in the first pane.
FCXEpα instead updates the active tabtitle in the inactive/second pane!
The address bar and location in the active/first pane change but not the tabtitle.
The address bar and location in the second/inactive pane do NOT change
but the tabtitle changes to what the tabtitle in the first/active pane should be!
When I activate the second pane and do refresh, the second pane tabtitle corrects itself
but the first pane tabtitle does not. This does NOT happen when the second pane is active ...

In the meantime I'm trying to find a way to have FCXEpα correct itself short of restarting.

A related point is that when toggling back to 2 panes FCXEpα opens the quick filter in the second pane.
In Settings I have checked Action 'Filter off' deactivates quick filter too & Deactivate filter for folder change
but can only close this quick filter by opening/closing settings ...
There is a Filter Off hotkey which seems to have no effect ...

(Update: it seems that toggling 1&2 panes until both panes have the quick filter causes FCXEpα to correct the tabtitle refreshing ...)

In the mean time I added an entry to NirSoft SearchMyFiles under External viewer Programs
(because I could then make Ctrl-F the External viewer hotkey combo)
