How to Disable the Viewer?

#1 Post by BadDog » 09.01.2010, 07:12

The viewer is causing me a lot of problems by reading massive files (a dumb thing to do). How do I turn it OFF?

Why do you turn the viewer ON when it's causing you a lot of problems by reading massive files?

That is a problem to because I never turned it ON. If I knew how to turn it on I would know how to turn it off. I uninstalled and re-installed and that seems to have got rid of the viewer.

Would be great if you could close/remove those panels you have no use for instead of having to hide them.

The problem is that you accidentally open the viewer sometimes? If so - and you are using a hotkey, you can disable it, both, hotkey for Viewer (F3) and for Quick view (Ctrl+Q) in menu > extras > keyboard shortcuts. Toolbar and Splitter bar Viewer buttons can be disabled too.
