Key Configurability

#1 Post by GiantWaffle » 22.07.2009, 01:35

I would like to be able to configure which key combos do what. As it is right now, like for example with the <ALT><F5> and <F6> combos to zip and unzip files, it is kind of a pain, because of the way my keyboard is laid out on my laptop. The <ALT> key is small and is four keys in from the left and so, it makes it difficult and I often hit the wrong key and flake out the program. No fun. :)

Is it possible that we could have some user configuration for the keys, please?

Some keyboard shortcuts can be changed in Settings, the rest - almost all shortcuts can be changed in Keyboard shortcuts (menu > Extras > Keyboard shortcuts).

Now how did I miss that!!! :)

Hey, let me ask you something while I have you. :)

I noticed that when viewing folders in column mode, not all of the columns stay in sight. In other words, I set mine up to just show me the file name and the size in the next column. But when I go from folder to folder, sometimes the sizes are half out of sight.

I have tried it both with the "autosize" on and off. I wasn't sure what that did, but I did try it for both entries. :)

Hmm... I can't help you with that, but please always start a new topic for new issue.
