#1 Post by votanak » 16.04.2009, 10:10

Shortcut files (*.lnk) in Free Commander opens in Windows Explorer window. Is this possible to open it in panel of FC?

Really? .lnk files are opened in FreeCommander here, strange. Which .lnk file - are these links to a local hard drive, network, FTP?

Are you using the latest version of FreeCommander?

This is network shortcuts (by type "\\ivanov-ik\").

Don't know, perhaps in the future version, more here.

JFYI - Marek is the only author and developer of the FreeCommander, I'm just a moderator/admin here.

As workaround you can use the address with a subfolder, then you will be able to go up with a single key (backspace), for example: "\\ivanov-ik\pictures".

I experienced a similar problem: If I type something like "\\server\" in the address bar of a panel, nothing will happen.
