Cannot adjust column settings

Hello and good day to you.

I'm trying to adjust my column setup.

When I try with the context menu "add/remove columns", as soon as I select that option everything become unavailable. Using the ESC key does return me to a normal/usable state.

When I try using the settings, as soon as I enter into the Column profiles to create a new column, that particular view freezes and I cannot get it to either save what I'm creating (clicking OK) and I cannot escape it by any means (clicking on Cancel does nothing).

Any help with adjusting the columns will be appreciated.
