Quick uestion — Sort particular folder according to time of change

Hi there!

Sorry for such a stupid question, but I am curious if it is possible to assign a sorting order to the contents of a particular folder - so that every time I visit that particular folder, I see it listed by date modified?

Now the sorting is assigned to the tab. If I change the folder in the same tab, the sorting (by name, by time, etc.) is retained. But there are some folders that I have to manually sort by time each time I visit them. This one click on the appropriate column annoys me.

Is there a way to hardcode the sorting for some folders so I don't have to do it every time I visit them?

yes, it it possible, thanks to Automatic views, more here:

To use specific sorting option, you may need to create also Column profile with that item and then select Column profile in Automatic views.

BTW Don't forget to enable Automatic views, checkbox on top.
