Currently, for a selected item in Search result tab, one can open item's location on either active or inactive panel.
Problem is : one is not always well aware of the currently active panel whereas it's more common to have a left/right (top/bottom, alternatively) mental organization (which is way more stable as left/right concepts do not change over time
)I suggest an additive pair of "open in first panel" and "open in second panel" buttons in the Search result tab
(applicable to both left/right or top/bottom dual panel settings for a given user)
