Hi
I'm new to Freecommander and I like it very much. After a lot of tweaking, I've got it set the way I want, but have two outstanding issues:
1. I don't want the tree to change unless I click it. I've worked out the settings for that EXCEPT - when I click on a Favorite (either from Favorite tree or a toolbar button), the tree automatically expands to that folder. Is there a way to turn off that behaviour?
2. Is there a a toolbar button to enable/disable NC-mode?
many thanks

Re: new user questions
I have fixed it for the next release.when I click on a Favorite (either from Favorite tree or a toolbar button), the tree automatically expands to that folder. Is there a way to turn off that behaviour?

No, it is not possible. You can define multiple favorite tools. And is it possible to edit the FC context menu?
Re: new user questions
Thanks Marek, that's great. Do you have a sense of when the next release will be?

Re: new user questions
The 32 bit release - December.
The 64 bit release - next 2 weeks.

Re: new user questions
Thanks. I don't know if this is the right place for feature requests, but I'd love to have 'new folder' and 'new file' available in the main context menu, rather than a subfolder.

Workarounds for your request: custom keyboard shortcuts, direct toolbar buttons, those are just 1-click, context menu is 2-clicks.
