Deleting without recycle bin

#1 Post by huebi » 20.10.2008, 10:12

Maybe i missed it, but in explorer you can delete files without sending them to the recycle bin by holding down the shift key while clicking on the red cross. I really miss this feature in freecommander.

I know it's not the same, but you can use Shift+Delete, as workaround.

Shift-delete

I just use shift-delete (like in windows explorer). This way you can delete to recyle bin the files you want to, and remove permanately the files you want.

By default, the recycle bin uses ten percent of your hard drive for deleted files!. If you have a small drive it's wise to lower the percentage or just disable it all together. Why would you want to delete the same file twice, anyway?.
