How to view STL files under the quick view panel

Is there a way to view STL files using Windows 3D viewer all in the quick view panel?

1. Download the shell extension for STL files
2. In the viewer settings add the extension .stl in field "as Windows preview" https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/General5.html

The actual Microsoft Power Toys version 0.55.1
also displays preview thumbnails for STL files.
Windows 11 Home, Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.8117)
Everything Version 1.5.0.1408a (x64), Everything Toolbar 2.3.0, Listary Pro 6.3.6.99
FreeCommander XE 2026 Build 947 64-bit donor
