F4 edit doesn't work

Hello,

for several weeks, I have not been able to operate the F4 / edit. My editor (notepad ++) is configured as follows in the preferences / external program.

Pressing F4 make nothing but a right clic => notepad open without problem the current selected file.

What step did I miss?
Thank you in advance for your feedback and thank you to the developers of FC which saves me a lot of time.

The only thing I see its that you haven't " around the parameter.
So it may be problems if the full pathname of the file to edit contains spaces.
But there should be an error message in this case.
Another Idea is that you already have running NP++ in the background with higher privileges.

sorry for the delay, i didn't see your reply.
I have added the " at the parameter.
I just control if it make something but no one action on F4.
For information with the task manager N++ is not running in back.

So what can y do ?

Have you tried to use menu item "File->Edit"?
Have you tried to define other program for testing?

hi marek,
shame on me. The deepest issue are sometime the simply stupid one.
file edit was effectve, so with extra / shortcut definition i observe tah edit shortcut wasn't fixed.

Many thanks marek and please maintain FC in live and development becaus it's so efficient in today's operations.

In previous versions some shortcuts could be lost, temporary or permanently, but it's another issue, should be fixed.
