I just installed the 64 bit version, but when trying to move folders (also compressed folders like zip), a box comes up with the error message:
Could not find this item
This is no longer located in xxxxxxxx. Verfiy the item's location and try again.
If I click the 'try again' -option in the error box, everything works and the folder is moved.
When moving folders, I get an error message: Could not find this item
Re: When moving folders, I get an error message: Could not find this item
What about your AV program (anti virus)?
Re: When moving folders, I get an error message: Could not find this item
I disabled both antivirus and firewall, but no difference.
But I installed Teracopy, and then it works fine. Does that tell you anything?
Permissions? Do I need to run anything in administrator mode?

Re: When moving folders, I get an error message: Could not find this item
I found a fix, and it had to do with me having disabled libraries in Windows 7. Once I deleted some registry entries (Folder Descriptions), it all works. I guess re-enabling libraries would also work.
Don't know how this would affect normal moving operations, and why the error message only came up in the 64-bit version of FreeCommander, but happy as long as it's sorted. Thanks for the reply.
Also thx for FreeCommander, been using daily for years. About time to pay for it..
It's the best.
