A and B drives

#1 Post by eirik » 26.08.2015, 21:52

In Veracrypt is it now possible to use the A and B drive for mounting an encrypted file.
In windows these drives are showed as a normal drive you can access.
Free commander however can not show these mounted drives, in the XE as well as in the normal one.
It was clear that the old Mdos drives (good memories) became rather useless , however here their letters are used again.
This is only a feedback for improvement.

Tools - Settings - View - Drives - tab General - uncheck 'Don't show floppy drives (A:,B:)'

This option is disabled by default, it means that drives A: and B: should be displayed, so you had to enable this option to hide these drives.

Anyway, it's not a bug, moved to General Discussion.
