quickfiltre box font color hard set to black

This was not an issue in FC. FCXE only allows background color as option but not foreground. Font color is hard set to black. I choose dark color for my background and prefer white as foreground for all windows. So its hard to see what is in the quickfiltre box with dark banckground and black font. In FC QF font color was same as file list's font color.

I can't confirm this one, I'm using a grey color for font (and dark color for background) in Settings > View > File/folder list > Color/font and if the filter is on, the font color is grey - correct.

I can reproduce it consistently. As I said I am comparing behavior with FC and clearly this is new. There is no setting to change this. The only setting is for the background (settings->Quick Search/Filter/Starter->Edit width(pixels)/color). Font color stays black for me. No font color is set to black anywhere in my settings. I am also using R 591. Where is the font color and format for quick filter box set? Is it supposed to follow file list font? Then clearly its not doing it in my case. Thanks

Maybe you meant the font color in the active file list panel. I was referring to the font color of typed text in the small quick filter box in the bottom.
