Unable to write to ActiveSync device

I can browse the mobile device connected to the PC using ActiveSync and open files directly from device. However when I try to copy a file from my PC to the device it fails with the error message that the element cannot be copied because the device does not respond or the connection was lost. And when I try to copy a file from the device to the PC it fails with no message.

You could try with copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V).
