Is there a setting that changes this behavior or is this a bug that needs to be fixed?

Re: Color: background of hover

Again... - open settings (F12) - click "Select items", "General" tab - disable the option "Use Windows colors", this is important - click the color button next to "Hot item", in the context menu select "For selected item" - "Use both colors" - click the color button next to "Hot item" again, in the...

Re: Recycle Bin Sorting

OK, I can reproduce it with default settings. Just click the "Date Deleted" column header, once, or twice. I think it was broken with this option only: - F12 > View > File/folder list > Sorting > use option "Alphabetical - string sort" Now it's broken even with default option (Natural sorting). fcbi...

Re: Color: background of hover

Your screenshot is small, but I think it's a hot item. Again... - open settings (F12) - click "Select items", "General" tab - disable the option "Use Windows colors", this is important - click the color button next to "Hot item", in the context menu select "For selected item" - "Use both colors" - c...

Re: Recycle Bin Sorting

You're welcome. It looks not good, your date format is too complicated, there is no year, weekday and even AM/PM, I think it will be not easy to fix it. Perhaps you could change the Windows date format (In Windows Settings), but I'm not sure if it could solve this problem, of course, it would be jus...

Re: Recycle Bin Sorting

Screenshot would be helpful - even without file names, and some steps to reproduce - can you reproduce it with default settings? When you click to sort by Date Deleted, is it sorted by name, or just randomly? If you press Ctrl+R, is it the same? I think that bug, reported by me is not easy to fix, t...

Re: FreeCommander XE "not so obvious" settings

If you have a problem with sorting by Date Deleted in Recycle Bin in FC, you can use this workaround: Try to define in the [Form] section (open and close FC first and you can find empty line with TimestampDateSeparator=): TimestampDateSeparator=. for your Windows and the sorting should work. It shou...

Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue

It's possible to fix this issue in the freecommande.ini file, only if sorting is broken, use this workaround: Try to define in the [Form] section (open and close FC first and you can find empty line with TimestampDateSeparator=): TimestampDateSeparator=. for your Windows and the sorting should work....

Re: Recycle Bin Sorting

Is it broken completely? Here is a similar bug: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue - FreeCommander Forum There's a workaround, I'm not sure if it's public, but it works here, so you can try it too: Try to define in the [Form] section (open and close FC first and you can find empty line with TimestampDa...

Re: Color: background of hover

My suggestion is not for selection, it's for "hot item" = hovering, it's just in the "select items" section of settings, just change the background color for "hot item", also text color, if needed, disable the option "Use Windows colors", and Apply. If you're using NC-Mode, change the colors in NC-M...

Re: Viewer only occupies a small area of the viewer pane

It's a misunderstanding, I meant, that it is probably caused by scaling factor 250%, not that you should not use it, it's a bug, of course.

Marek - FC author already fixed other similar issues.

Re: Color: background of hover

It's the "hot item", more below, second link if you're using NC-mode.

Re: Color Schemes - Discussion

There are some known issues / limitations, which should be fixed later, you can find the list in the Color Schemes - Guide topic. Before you start a new topic, please read this topic. The color of some elements can't be changed (probably it will be possible in the future): Line between main menu an...

Re: Viewer only occupies a small area of the viewer pane

I found the other topic with a similar problem.

Quick viewer doesn't populate all available space - FreeCommander Forum

I think the problem is the scaling factor 250%.
