Double clicking a jpg file returns error instead of opening in viewer

#1 Post by Dave F » 03.07.2024, 16:27

Hi

I've FC set up so if I double-click on a .jpg in file list it will open in FC's internal viewer, the equivalent of pressing F3.

However in a search files (Ctrl+F) results list, double clicking it returns this error:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\%InternalViewer%
The system cannot find the specified file
The folder path is that specified in the 'Start in' option of the Windows short cut.

If I press F3 it works as expected.

Any ideas for a solution?
FreeCommander XE Build 901 32-bit public, Windows 10.

It is a bug, confirmed in 910 64-bit donor portable.

Please wait for the fix.

Workaround, use F3 or export search results to file container (Ctrl+E) and open files with double-click.

Note: Moved to Bug reports.
