Quickview and MS Word starts 2nd instance & CPU 100%

Hi,
I wanted to report a suspected bug. I have office 07 installed and in quickview I'm getting a pretty slow response. When I click on one file after the other I get a 2nd instance of word.exe starting and 100% cpu being used. If I start word in the background then everything works as it should. I ...

Anyone else using office 2007 that is able to see previews now problem, that is, able to switch files and its reasonably ...

Word 2007 quickview Slow 100% CPU unless it's running

Quickview is very slow when I try to view .doc files. I'm running office 07. I see that when I switch to the next file it seems to start a second instance of Word.exe and uses up 100% CPU until I kill that instance. It quickviews ok if I have Word running in the background. Suggestions?

Pesky QuickView problem solved

Hey,
If you're having a problem with Quickview not showing a preview of your .doc files even though you have office installed, try the following:

1. Go to Explorer
2. Click on Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types
3. Find .doc in the list, or whatever file you're having issues with
4. In the ...
