Re: Quick View - Option to show nothing?

Similar to how WindowsExplorer simply shows 'No preview available'.
Try this solution :).
Simply define the extensions you want (eg *.zip, *.mdb, *.pff, *.exe) in the field "as Windows preview" of the viewer settings.

If you can not find "Settings->File/folder list->Icons: Registered (Extracted)": https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Icons.html

Re: git icons overlay not correctly displayed

I do not use git and I do not know if it works with FreeCommander but if you use git then you know the notice from https://tortoisegit.org/download/ Context menu and overlays in 32-bit applications on 64-bit Windows On x64 versions of Windows, the TortoiseGit context menu and overlays won't show in ...

Re: Filter cleared at restart.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature but with older versions (2009.02b) a 'Defined filter' remains active when FC is closed/reopened.
It works for me the same way in the current release.
Maybe you need to deactivate the option "Close all not locked tabs when the program ends".

Re: How to change icon for all folders from the OS default one?

As I know FreeCommander use Windows icons and you can not change folder or file icon.
Have you checked "Extracted" and "Registered" icons?

Re: Recycle Bin as Favorite Toolbar shortcut bug and white space issue

It works fine in the release 773:

Program or folder: .....\FreeCommander.exe
Parameter: -L=::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} -C -T

- open on the right site
Program or folder: .....\FreeCommander.exe
Parameter: -R=::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} -C -T

Re: black band across the top of the scrren

It seems that there is a problem with menu bar.
Try the option "Use Windows drawn menu".
Check the FAQ about main menu.

Could you tell us examples of the files and folders you do not find?
Some screenshot from Explorer and Freecommander would not be bad either.

Re: VLC Media Interface

For 64 Bit FreeCommander you need to install 64 Bit VLC Player.
