Missing toolbar button icons

Hi there, I posted about this back in 2011, here:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3221

I have just downloaded the latest version XE 2014 build 665 and the icons are still missing. Is this by design or are they still "just not implemented yet"?

Cheers :-)

Missing toolbar icons

Hi there, Some of the toolbar buttons have no icons - eg:

Search in folders...
Edit new
Find computer
Context menu
Open folder in other pane
Select all files
Select same in other panel

Will these be added in the future? Cheers.

Re: Change Case includes apostrophied words

Hi granny, Thanks for that. But while it may be an adequate solution, it's not very convenient when doing a multi-rename where changing case is only one part of the renaming process. Do you think this issue is likely to be addressed in future versions?

Change Case includes apostrophied words

Hi there,

When changing case using "First letter of each word uppercase" it also capitalises the first letter after an apostrophe.

For example:

don't becomes Don'T
you're becomes You'Re
we'll becomes We'Ll

Is there any way to stop this behaviour? Cheers.

Re: Create new txt file error

Hi granny, Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried saving a blank text file in all three folders and I still get the error. I don't have this problem when I use the New menu in Explorer. Hopefully someone else might have another idea. Thanks again.

Create new txt file error

Hi there, I'm using FreeCommander Portable 2009.2a.

My default txt and rtf program is CopyWriter located at C:\PortableApps\CopyWriter Portable\CopyWriter.exe.

When I try to create a CopyWriter TXT-File or CopyWriter RTF-File by right-clicking on an empty space in a folder and using the New menu I ...

I'm running XP Home SP2 and I have full admin rights. And it's not just v2008.06 that is affected. I'm sticking to v2007.10a in the meantime because of the bugs but it also has the same problem with the 'select panel for open' setting. In fact so does 'start program in'.

Granny, thanks for the idea but it didn't work. This is really frustrating. It's not the only bug in this version either so I'm sticking to v2007.10a in the meantime.

I've just discovered that it isn't even on FC restart - simply going to another settings tab and back to 'shell menu' will have changed the panel back to archive.

LOTR yes, granny :D

I have tried replacing ini file with my prev version's one and I get all my toolbars in the right place except one. And if I move it back to where I want it, it still changes upon close.

Select panel for open

In 'shell menu' settings I want the default to be the left panel but no matter what setting I use, when I close FC it changes to Active panel.

I am having the same issues with the toolbars not holding their positions. Even if I manually change the toolbar position values in the freecommander.ini file FC still opens up with them at a different position and changes the ini file to that position upon close.
