Ideas for improving main panels

As shown in the mockup, below, it seems that two options could enhance the appearance of the tree and the details panel:

1. Allow the user to suppress the 'folder' icons in the tree, since they're all the same. It would look less cluttered.

2. Add an option to set folder names to bold in the details panel. Color is not quite enough. Bold+Color would really make them stand out.
