XE 2016 Build 724 64-bit (Win 7 x64)

Often, but not every time - when I click through into a folder, the item inside the folder that is under the mouse pointer is automatically selected

as can be seen in the image below:


This has only started happening since build 724.

In addition to that, sometimes when single clicking on a folder it will also become selected for no reason (not just highlighted)
clicking on it again will un-select it, but not every time.

After changing these I no longer get items selected for no reason, but get unwanted highlighted items instead !


So my new question is how do I disable those new settings when using NC mode, so nothing is highlighted or selected and FC acts the same as before ?

I have just tried build 723 again and it does not happen.

Some behavoiur was changed in FC XE 724. When you click on extension or free space in label, item is selected with default settings. Also when you click on item icon it also could be selected (in version 723 select on item icon click worked only when 'single click' was used, in 724 it works even without 'single click' - as in other file managers).

So my new question is how do I disable those new settings when using NC mode, so nothing is highlighted or selected and FC acts the same as before ?

Problem is already fixed in FC XE 7242 test version (not published yet). Please wait for new 725 donor version.
