Hi there

I've been using Free Commander for a couple of week snow and I'm very pleased with it.
However there is one potentially very useful feature that I discovered that I can't get to function at all.

I was customising the action toolbars and I found a button/command named "Make file list and save as a file". It seemed that facility would be a good addition, but when I added it to a toolbar it just stays permanently greyed out.

How should I expect this to work? I haven't found it in the Help file or elsewhere in this Forum. From the name I was hoping it would provide me with a simple text file listing the contents of the current active directory (a bonus would have been to select/de-select sub-folders as well).

Thank you very much for the prompt explanation.
Indeed, I am running 685a 64-bit.

I didn't realise when I downloaded my 64-bit version on 19th May that it wasn't quite what it stated here - ' the latest version “FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 685 64-bit donor” '. Latest and 685 are obviously not the same.

Oh well, I'll donate some more and get up to date.

Got the latest version now and the button works exactly as I'd hoped - and possibly just a little better too!

The last version in dowload tab in the web site is 685.

I search XE portable version over 687 build. Anyone know where i find it ??

Of course the function will be included in the next public version - FreeCommander XE 2016.
