1. Is there a way to open the Windows Control Panel in pane, rather than the drown down menu.
2. Is there any way to make a shortcut that will open the CP in Free Commander.
(I've completely replaced explorer.exe for everything, and the control panel is essentially the only thing I use explorer.exe for).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A few questions.
With Vista you can make links to the entries of the control panel. I don't know if it's the same in XP.
So you can make a folder (e.g. "control panel") where ever you want with links to all functions of control panel.

You can use Control Panel button for popup menu. If you press the CTRL key and hold the key and klick on the button - the control panel window should be opened.
Which would involve running explorer.exe (which I'm trying not to do.).
Thanks for the suggestions though.
