Hi, I would like to report a bug which I couldn't find in this forum.
It is when search a file, and the search scans archives as well. I can receive a result (files are found within archives), but when I want to see a list of files in a panel I cannot see any of the files from archive. The others are visible (I mean those not from archive).
regards
Tomasz
636 windows 7 result of search
Re: 636 windows 7 result of search
Confirmed in FC XE 6362 (not released yet) in Windows XP SP3.
Files are found, but when we try to Export files to container, files that are inside archives are lost.
But I don't even know how to solve that problem. For example, in Total Commander when files in archives are found button "Feed to listbox" (it is the same as "Export to file container" in FC XE) becomes unavailable at all!
Also I suggest in file container not only to show name of file, but full path to file.
For example, there were found 2 files matching our search string
C:\12345\test.txt
and
C:\12345\1\test.txt
if we export them to file container, we'll see in panel only
test.txt
test.txt
of course, we can move cursor over filename and we'll see the prompt with file name, full path, file type, ... but it is very unconvinient!
So, its better to show in container found results in such a way:
C:\12345\test.txt
C:\12345\1\test.txt
