Hello!
I am using FC 2007.10a. When I click on a drive that is not available, let's say my G drive, which is a dvd drive, with no disk in it, it gives me the following message:
"Device not ready / Folder no exist: G:\"
I don't know if it's actually a bug, but it seems weird to me. Shouldn't it be something like "Device not ready", without the rest?
Sorry, if it has been brought up already.
Regards
Tommy.
Strange "Device not ready" message
Strange device not ready
I confirm this, but I think it is still worse. With the same version 10a, under XP. I insert a blank CD, the OS detects it, Windows Explorer reports an empty directory, G:\.
FC reports an error 'Device not ready'. Tested in two different computers with regular and small CDs.
If the CDs contain files, then it works OK.
