I use FreeCommander XE to preview email saved as *.htm, *.eml, *.mht.
Problem is that by doing that XE alway sets the registry value of HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\GlobalUserOffline to 1
This makes other programs misbehave until i start iexplorer and reconnects. (I'll get a "Internet Explorer went online to open the requested webpage" message.)
From Sysinternals Process Monitor:
11:21:24,4134617 FreeCommander.exe 2588 RegSetValue HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\GlobalUserOffline SUCCESS Type: REG_DWORD, Length: 4, Data: 1
This is not a problem with the old FreeCommander.
Can it be fixed?
GlobalUserOffline = 1
Re: GlobalUserOffline = 1
I think it is the viewer option "Offline browsing". Unfortunatelly I set the option to TRUE if the viewer is opened.
Fixed for the release 599.
