Longer Quick Filter Box

Since the dropdown menu icon was added to the Quickfilter box, there is less room to type in. It seems so small to me, and it is difficult to see what is in the box. I have a widescreen monitor (two, actually), so I am sooooo not hurting for screen real-estate in the status bar. In fact, most of the status bar is just void space - and that on both panels.

I recommend the ability to resize that little quickfilter box by dragging to to the length you want, and then letting FC remember the setting.
