Selection rectangle available in full row selection?

Hello forum,

is it possible to select multiple files/folders using a selection rectangle in full row selection mode? I only got it to work when disabling full row selection.

If not, my suggestion would be to define a modifier key for enabling the selection rectangle. For instance using ALT + drag&drop creates a rectangle to select multiple files (without issuing drag&drop commands as usual).
