Folder access denied

Hi,
I have dual boot on my machine (Vista home basic SP1 and XP Pro SP3).
FC is installed on each.

When booting with XP - some of the Vista folders are blocked ie. when trying to view the folder content a message box says "Access is Denied".
For Example: The Pictures folder under the Documents (that is: "my documents") folder Vista user.

When I use the Windows Explorer - there is no problem.

Help please?
