Renaming files to change extension

I have files that are currently in .txt format and would like to rename them by changing their extensions to .xlsx. Is this possible using the multi-rename function? If so, how?

Selct the files,
>>> File >>> Multiple rename
>>> Type xlsx in the "File extension" field
>>> Press rename
