Congratulations to Marek Jasinski

#1 Post by Norarg » 05.06.2009, 15:19

Hi, I am new to the forum, but have used FC since a couple of years now. I am a developer too, and once started to write something similar (because of the trash MS gives us), then I found FC, so thanks Marek. I know how many hours, day, weeks, months, nights, coffee and divorces are hidden behind a good software. "Dear, come to bed please! Wait, wait, just a few minutes ..."
There always will be bugs in a software. Write 10 lines, even there you can find something to do better, or in another manner, and some will like it, other will dislike it. As of this reason you will never find a perfect software, and FC has grown that big, Marek will never be able to satisfy every user, so easy as that.
I have some things on my mind too, but in this posting I rather will pay Marek my honour (Donation will come too, as soon as PayPal is able to take some money from Argentina, where I moved to 4 months ago)

Carry on, this is the best SW for managing files and foldes, and I have seen many, many...

I know this pain as well.

I have thanked the man before, but I really owe a debt of gratitude.

Agreed. Far above and far beyond the average. I still have not donated, but I keep having money issues.

So, with that said.

Marek, if you ever need help, please do not hesitate to ask in your own forum.

If I am able, I will do as much as I can (as I am sure many others would as well).

I do promise that as soon as we (The wife and I) are able to make it month to month without selling / scrapping / collecting loose change, I will donate (because I really feel like you have improved my life (or at least the quality of the time I spend working with our info))

Anyway, thanks again Marek
