Customizable Drive Bar

i would like to request a customizable drive bar, the long blank space in the middle seems a waste of space, you can put shortcuts or put a tool bar there.

for me would it be enouth when it is like history list when you cklick on adsress bar.

splash screen by clicking on driver letter in address bar to access another drivers.

and witout icons please
