#1
To reproduce:
- Place multiple files and multiple folders with the files in one folder
- Ctrl+B, use plain view
- Ctrl+A, to select all files
- Ctrl+X, to cut files
= Result - error dialog is shown "Operation failed"
It's broken only if selecting multiple files from multiple folders.
EDIT: Another issue:
#2
- Place multiple files and multiple folders with the files in one folder
- Use the same folder in another/right panel, just with plain view disabled
- In the first/left panel use Ctrl+B, use plain view
- Ctrl+A, to select all files
- F6 to move all files to to other panel
= Result - error dialog is shown "Source and target are the same - operation is not supported"
I understand that it's not possible for some files, but the files from subfolders can be moved, so these files should be moved.
To move multiple file from subfolders to parent folder at once, these two ways are working:
Workaround #1
- Place multiple files and multiple folders with the files in one folder
- Use the same folder in another/right panel, just with plain view disabled
- In the first/left panel use Ctrl+B, plain view
- Ctrl+A, to select all files
- Drag&drop files to other panel
- Skip files which can't be moved
Workaround #2
- Place multiple files and multiple folders with the files in one folder
- Use the same folder in another/right panel, just with plain view disabled
- In the first/left panel use Ctrl+Num*, to select all files, not folders
- Ctrl+B, plain view
- Num*, to invert selected files
- F6 to move selected files to to other panel
EDIT2: OK, so the workaround #2 is not working sometime too, strange, even if moving just 1 file from subfolder to parent folder.

940 - Cut multiple files in plain view failed (partly fixed)
Re: 940 - Cut multiple files in plain view failed (updated 2x)
I can fully confirm this.
F6 seems to be a tad more reliable than Ctrl+X.
strangely enough it sometimes works (using F6), BUT the folder list is not updated (the moved file remains visible in the original folder even though it was moved successfully)
