Folder synchronization very slow
Since build version 900, I notice that the folder synchronization is very slow for files that need to be replaced. Copying new files during the synchronization is as fast as always. Only replacing existing files during the synchronization is really very slow now.
Re: Folder synchronization very slow
I noticed the same slow update with FC release 900 about 2 weeks ago.
I switched back to release 894 and synchronization is fast again.

Code: Select all
Implemented: Synchronize - new option for using of the recycle bin for delete operations
After clicking on "Synchronize..." button please uncheck the option "Use recycle bin for delete operation" - unchecked was default before.
I think, replacing use the option too.
Re: Folder synchronization very slow
I am using Free Commander release 900 64-bit donor with Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3803
I checked the options tab in the Synchronize window and there was no option to use the recycle bin.
I searched the FreeCommander.ini file and there was nothing.
I searched the FreeCommander.sync.ini and there was nothing.
Also, during the slow sync with release 900, there were no files added to the recycle bin.
This problem must be somewhere else.

After careful investigation, I found a possible cause.

Re: Folder synchronization very slow
Thank You, that's good to know!
Unchecking the option "Use recycle bin for delete operation" did not help, unfortunately. Actually, it was already unchecked in my case, as my settings come from an earlier version.
