How to stop automatic changing of illegal characters into the _ sign in file and folder names?

It seems that I have to repeat my question from post https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtop ... 200#p39200. So here it goes:
Every illegal character that I write in a name of an item is transformed into the >>_<< sign - except in the Multi Rename feature
How can I turn this off? I want to see error messages and not experience obligatory changes of what I have just wrote or pasted in - or - to be able to choose what illegal character should be changed to from now on. In the online help I found term illegal character only here: https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Multirename.html
