How to straight jump to an specific folder?

Howdy I am new to this forum and so to this program. The thing is I want to jump to an existing folder but the program only shows two panels and on the top of these only displays the existing drives. So If I want to go to an specific folder, what I have to do is to click manually to find the folder where I want to get. But is there any shortcut to this?.
What I intend to do is to go straight to let's say.
C:\users\my_folder\
something like this, but I don't know how to do that. I can't find a box to type the desired destination as you can do it in explorer. Btw I am using Windows 7.
Any help please?.
