Shouldn't the file overwrite settings be kept? I have to check everything every time I copy a file or two to my site. I only started using FC for FTP within the past month, because FileZilla suddenly stopped being able to get a directory listing. I have no idea why that happened, but Free Commander has no such problem.
I wondered if there might be something I could add manually to the INI, or if it is just something that doesn't quite work yet
I can't complain, it has saved my skin. The convenience of using a program that I always have open anyway outweighs the small annoyance. I've been using FC longer than any other file manager I have tried.
