Context Menu and Icons

I have Windows 10 Pro x64(Ver.2004) and FreeCommander Build 8.40. I have noticed that all program file(exe) icons are generic and "Pin To Start Menu"/"Pin To Taskbar" are missing from right click context menu. I check in Windows File Explorer and context menu/icons are as they should be. I also have another computer with Windows 8.1 x64 and FreeCommander 8.40 and the context menu/icons are correct on that computer. Any idea what the problem with Windows 10 computer is? GregT

Can't reproduce in 840 64-bit donor / 840 32-bit public.
Where are the exe files, in Program Files (x86), Program Files, or another folder - perhaps a system folder, encrypted? Is it on standard disk (HDD, SSD), or external disk?
Regarding icons, check the options in Settings > View > File/folder list > Icons, try to use "Extracted" option for "Fixed" drives, or for others too, but it can be slow.
BTW You could update your signature, OS and FC version.

It appears to to be all executable files no matter what folders they're in. I tried the extracted for fixed drives option but all executable file icons are still generic and still no pin to start menu/taskbar. As I mentioned in the previous post everything is as it should be in Windows file manager. I tried the previous version of FreeCommander(8.35) and the same problems are in that version also. It could be in my settings that I use for every new version so I'm attaching my settings restore folder in a zip file. I have been using these settings for quite some time and never noticed these problems. I know that I use to have the "pin" options before. Hope this extra info helps. GregT

In your settings you use the option "Registered" for all drive types.
If you want to see non generic icon for exe files you must use "Extracted" option

Missing is only "Pin To Taskbar". Currently I do not know why. Maybe Windows does not allow it.
