quickview position

I'm missing something really obvious i know, but it's driving me crazy and searches bring up everything but what i'm looking for. guess it's just too simple:

how do i change quickview to the right panel instead of the bottom so i can still view both my upper and lower panes and the quickview panel? as it is now it takes over the bottom pane and i can see only the top when the viewer is active. i know it can be done because that's how it was originally, i don't even know what i did to make it go to the bottom instead.

Check your settings regarding this example:

maybe it will work then. Otherwise make a test with a empty FreeCommander.ini to check out if it depends on the INI.

Thanks so much for answering, but my settings look nothing like the pic example (except the top half) and has no position setting for the viewer. I'm using the latest version as far as i can tell. but i will try the ini file. thank so much.

The Screenshot is made in the latest FC XE 0.0.0.550.
If your Dialog look's different maybe it's good to check:
Menu: Help -> Info
to see which Version you are running.

i have the latest non-beta, official version. but i'll go ahead and check out the pre-release again since it's been updated. the first one didn't do it for me.
