Synchronization set preference would be very helpful

Hi. I have just started using FreeCommander and am very happy with most aspects, but using the synchronizer, which is an important aspect for me, for backups I have to reset the "asymmetric (left or right)" every time. Forgetting to set that could have serious consequences - not lost files maybe, but quite likely loss of time-consuming housekeeping work.

Since many people use synchronization mainly for backups, can there be a Preference choice to set that as fixed? Or is there such a choice already? I can't find one, and the Help although it is detailed, is not very simple to follow.

The previous Manager I was using left the Synchronizer set as it was last used. I always checked it out but at least I knew the default was the one I needed.
