Can one do a compound sort

#1 Post by Phototaker » 21.04.2011, 08:45

Is it possible to do a compound sort & if so how is it done?

By this I mean if a folder has several different types of files, mpeg, jpg, psd, doc etc could I sort the files all follows. First say select display thumbnails & then have the displayed thumbnails then sorted again say in date order, file name etc?
Thanks in advance

Right click on free space (not on a thumbnail) and chose "sort by", or in menu "view" click on "sort by".
