Drag and Drop actions are different on different machines

#1 Post by drbones » 27.08.2010, 15:54

Hello,

I really love FreeCommander. I like to move files from a media card such as photos to a network drive on my home network. On one of my computers the I drag the files across and it "cuts" them from the origin location. On my other machine, when I drag the files it "copies" the files and leaves them on the origin location.

Both machines are XP Pro and are running 2008.06c version.

Where can I change this setting?

Thanks!

1st: Why don't you use the updated version 2009.02a?
2nd: Compare the settings files FreeCommander.ini.
3rd: As you drag&drop press CTRL to copy, and SHIFT to move.
4th: Use the F5 or F6 hotkeys in FreeCommander.
5th: When you drag&drop in the same drive, the files will be moved. And if you drag&drop in different drive, the files will be copied.
