Collapsing tree

#1 Post by hornetster » 07.05.2010, 03:06

Have a prob where when I am viewing the tree in the left column, and the files in the right, for some reason there is a "fairly regular" (10 mins or so??) refresh happening, which then collapses the tree view on the left.
I then need to navigate back down the tree to find where I had been. This never seemed to happen before (on a previous install).
Am running Win7 x86 and FreeCommander 2009.02a.
Thanks, john.

Having not used win 7 yet this is by no means gospel.

Having said that, I would try the faithful. First, if you have any network unc path in your folder list, make them an actual drive. FC does not like dealing with unc paths for extended periods.

Second is ip address refresh. Are you running on a network that frequently refreshes its ip addresses? If so this may be affecting the connection.

Third, rename all ini files in the FC folder and allow FC to create a new set.

Let me know if any of this helps.
