R507 - Disable renaming of some items

#1 Post by Dreamer » 18.04.2010, 01:34

Renaming of some items* should be disabled - F2 hotkey, context menu item...

* Computer, Control Panel, Network, also Recycle Bin?...

Also other options might be disabled, "new folder" in Computer for example.

Partially fixed, control panel, network...

Computer, Recycle Bin is not fixed.

Also menu item "Rename" is not greyed-out for any such items.

Windows Explorer lets me rename Computer and Recycle Bin on Win7. So for me, there is no such bug any more.

The problem is that in Explorer it works, in FC doesn't.

I don't have R507, but with R508 I am able to rename both Computer and Recycle Bin. I am running Vista x64.

I'm using R508 too, but I'm not able to rename those items. Vista 32-bit SP2.
